How often should windows be cleaned?

Every four to eight weeks keeps a London property looking right, and stops the dirt getting baked on. Roads and building work shorten it; a quiet back garden lengthens it. We will tell you honestly what your property needs.

Why are my windows wet when you leave?

Pure water is left to dry on the glass rather than buffed off, and it dries clear because there are no minerals in it to leave a mark. Give it an hour or two.

Will you clean in the rain?

Usually yes. Rain is clean water and it does not undo the clean. In very hot weather we start early instead, because cooling hot glass too quickly carries a small risk of cracking it.

For the outside of upper-floor glass, a pure water pole reaches the second and third floor from the ground. Pure water has had its minerals stripped out, so it dries without leaving the spotting and streaking that tap water does, and the whole window gets rinsed rather than just wiped.
